Class Overview

3's Preschool
This program supports the whole child through daily free-choice play, where children build social skills, communicate needs and feelings, and explore learning centers focused on academics, creativity, fine motor development, literacy, sensory play, science, and dramatic play.
- Provide a warm, safe, and engaging environment that supports healthy social-emotional development
- Facilitate large-group activities that help children build self-regulation and group participation skills
- Offer small-group academic and fine motor experiences aligned with Illinois Early Learning Standards and Common Core
- Encourage self-help skills to build confidence, independence, and readiness for the next stage of school
- Foster creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong love of learning

  20 children : 2 teachers
- Sessions:
  Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Enhancements:

Afternoon Collaborative Enrichment (ACE) available Tuesday – Friday 12:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.

Early drop-off available Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m.

- Licensing
  Licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services, we follow and exceed the guidelines mandated by the state of Illinois for safety, environment, health standards, and staffing requirements.
- Safety
  The health and safety of every child is the top priority at UCECP. From building security to drop-off and pick-up procedures, we take great measures to ensure the safety and well-being of every child.
- Educators
  The faculty at UCECP is comprised of highly skilled and experienced educators who exceed the DCFS standards for education.
- Curriculum
  Our play-based curriculum with academic accountability aligns with the Common Core State Standards.
- Programs
  We offer a variety of programs for children 6 weeks to 6 years of age, making UCECP a place where your child can grow and develop while building meaningful relationships.
- Healthy Meals
  We believe nutrition is key to building strong minds and bodies. We only serve high quality foods, making sure allergies and food restrictions are carefully monitored.

- The teachers at UCECP take their time with my child and listen to what she has to say. They stay in touch with the parents and make us a part of what they are learning. It’s so fun to see her excited about school and be positive about learning and UCECP really has perfected the integration of art, play and learning!
