OFFERED: Tuesday and Thursday 9:15 – 2:00 OR Tuesday – Friday 11:45 – 2:45

This half-day program supplements your child’s Kindergarten school day. KinderBoost! is designed to give Kindergarteners an academic “boost” by providing challenging academic activities aligned with the Common Core Standards. Recreation and socialization provide a healthy balance in the curriculum. Children participate in structured learning time through small group activities, free-play and outdoor large motor play. Each day, different activities are offered so that children can attend the program for as many as four days or as few as one. Every class includes play time inside and out, large group and small group work. Class focus is on literacy, science and mathematics using games, experiments, studies, worksheets and projects. “Boost!” curriculum is paralleled with goals that District 181 uses throughout the Kindergarten year. Special emphasis on asking questions similar to those asked on the PARCC test.
